Quick Guide: The pre-production process

1. Saving Images:

- Using "Safari"

• right-click (control-click) on picture, select "save to i-photo library"

- Any other web-browser:

• click and drag photo into i-photo

2. Creating slides:

- Using "Keynote": Create a new presentation and save to your server drive "student$"
- Select "inspector" button on toolbar



- In the "inspector" click on first tab on left "document inspector"


- Then select slide size "custom slide size"


- type in "800" and "800" and click "ok"
- you can now create your slides for your podcast!

Give it a name



Get working on your podcast

Saving your Podcast:

You must "share" your podcast so that others may play it.

Audio podcasts: Select "Share" from menu bar, then "send podcast to itunes"
Video podcasts: Select "Share" from menu bar, then "export podcast to disk"
